Friday October 7th
So tonight for my first random recipe it’s going to be a bit of a mish-mash…
Autumn is arriving in Montreal, so the winter veggies are starting to creep in amongst the last of the summer crops at the market - the brussels sprouts are perfect, the butternut pumpkin killer.. the ‘brothers’ also have some amazing sides of ham today… so the plan is to throw them together and see what we get - I’d planned to sear some scallops to go with the veggies, but after seeing the ham, I can’t wait now to try it.. the flavours should compliment each other perfectly…
